Free Eye Surgical Camps in Nepal: 103 Cataract Surgeries Performed

From March 15th to March 17th 2023, free eye surgical camps were held in Bardibas, Dhansushaham, and Ganeshman Charnath Municipality in Nepal. The camps were organized by a team of medical professionals that included Dr. Ruchi Shrestha, Dr. Sanket Parajuli, and Dr. Ganga Sagar Shah, who performed the cataract surgeries during the three-day event. In total, 103 surgeries were performed, and 611 patients were screened and given free medicine. The patients who received medical care were happy and grateful for the services provided by the skilled surgeons and their team. This successful execution of these camps highlights the critical importance of providing free medical care to those in need, and the invaluable contributions of dedicated medical professionals like Dr. Shrestha, Dr. Parajuli, and Dr. Shah.
